When I first heard about User-Generated Content (UGC) in 2021, I was instantly intrigued, but also a little skeptical. Can creating authentic content for brands truly be a viable career? After conducting some research, experimenting, and scrolling through TikTok and Instagram, I realized something: UGC isn’t just “content creation” it’s storytelling that feels real. And I wanted to be a part of it. So at the end of 2025, I finally decided that I will start chasing my own dreams!
I chose to start doing UGC because I love the idea of blending creativity with authenticity. Unlike traditional advertising, UGC allows me to create content that resonates with real people, not just algorithms. I get to show products and experiences in ways that feel natural, relatable, and engaging. CONTENT that I myself would want to watch!
Another reason I dove in is the opportunity to collaborate with brands I genuinely admire. UGC lets me bring my perspective and creativity to the table while helping brands connect with their audience on a deeper, more human level. This career path also allows me to use my Bachelor’s degree in Beauty and Cosmetics in meaningful ways.
It inspires me not only to advertise products I truly love, but also to educate and inform audiences on how to use them effectively, drawing from my professional background in the field. Being able to combine creativity with education makes the content I create feel purposeful and impactful.
Finally, I wanted a creative outlet that could grow with me. UGC challenges me to stay on top of trends, learn new tools, and experiment with different styles and formats. Every video, image, or campaign is a chance to improve my craft while helping a brand shine.
Starting my UGC journey was about more than just creating content. It was about creating content that matters. And as I continue to grow, I’m excited to help more brands tell their stories in authentic, engaging ways.
If you’re a brand looking for real, scroll-stopping content, I’d love to collaborate and bring your story to life.
With all the best,
Milla
